THE COMMUNITY STANDARDS
Our commitment to voice & safety
Our goal is to make Nafrini Selection a place where young women can share their experiences, grow, connect, generate revenue, and build communities. It is important for Nafrini Selection to be an environment where young women feel safe, empowered to communicate, and we take our role seriously in keeping abuse off the service. That’s why we developed standards for what is and isn’t allowed on Nafrini Selection.
To ensure everyone’s voice is valued, we take great care to create standards that include different views and beliefs, especially from members and communities that might otherwise be overlooked or marginalized. Community Standards aiming to create a place for expression for young talented women that will protect them is one of our main focuses. Nafrini Selection wants members to be able to talk openly about the issues that matter to them and express their talent or art, even if some may disagree or find them objectionable.
We recognize the internet creates new and increased opportunities for abuse. For these reasons, when we limit expression, we do it in service of one or more of the following values:
We want to ensure that the material on Nafrini Selection is genuine. We feel that authenticity fosters a more open environment for sharing, which is why we don’t want anybody utilizing Nafrini Selection to misrepresent themselves or their work.
We are dedicated to making Nafrini Selection a secure environment. We eliminate information that might jeopardize people’s physical security. Threatening content has the ability to intimidate, exclude, or silence others and is not permitted on Nafrini Selection.
We are devoted to safeguarding personal information and privacy. Privacy allows individuals to be themselves, to select how and when they share on Nafrini Selection, and to interact more freely.
We think that everyone has the same dignity and rights. We anticipate that individuals would respect the dignity of others and refrain from harassing or degrading others.
